“Captain Sensible’s Rabbit”

My favorite band of all time is The Damned, and I recently stumbled upon a piece of 1984 footage of Captain Sensible’s home, and his rabbit, followed the next day by a rabbit-themed call for art benefitting the National Museum of Animals & Society. I wrote Captain Sensible asking for  permission to paint his rabbit for the show, which he graciously gave. So here I present Captain Sensible’s Rabbit, to be part of the Bunnymania show, curated by Peter Frank and Delia Cabral, opening March 27th.  100% of the proceeds from this piece will benefit the museum.
